Quiet Geometry

"Quiet Geometry" belongs to the working rhythm Owen has been keeping in the studio this year — pigment laid down in layers, then partly taken away again, until the surface holds a quiet weather of its own.

Seen up close, the ground reveals the slow decisions behind it: a colour returned to, a mark softened, a corner allowed to breathe. From across the room it settles into something calmer — the kind of piece that changes with the hour of the day.

Each work is one of one. It is signed on the reverse and comes with a short letter from the studio.
